Locien/Lucas. Recollection of light.

Day ten of 31_days. Last one for today!
Locien found it impossible to think of light in any form and not immediately think of Lucas. The cleric had always held about him some sparkling shine. Maybe in the way his pale skin nearly glowed with light of its own, or how large emerald green eyes shone with nearly palpable happiness.
Locien watched as Lucas sat in the rocking chair, those green eyes drifting shut with sweet sleep, newborn twins, one in each arm. Even sleeping he shone, and Locien smiled. He recalled Lucas the first moment they met: shy, quiet, withdrawn, with darting glances that showed an interest he couldn’t yet name in the dark-skinned druid who invited himself to his table. His light shone then, and now over sixty years and six children later, Lucasír Mithlárion Saeldur still shone just as bright.
