Day 16 of 31_days.
Everything took time.
It took time for Philip to grow accustomed to the rocking of the waves, for his stomach to accept the constant motion of the ship he rode. It took time to be rid of the nausea, the shaky feeling, and the inability to keep anything down.
It took time to grow accustomed to the other men on board, some as young as he, some far more experienced in the ways of sailing. It took time to grow used of their pokes and jibes, their brusque manner, and coarse sense of humor.
It took time to grow accustomed to the captain and his first mate, their unusual looks and heir relationship. Once he learned of that, however, Philip realized that took him less time to grow accustomed to than he expected.
But what really surprised him was how little time it took for him to fall so completely for the cleric who boarded their ship merely weeks after they first set sail. Philip found himself spending all his time with him, looking for ways to please him, to make that odd little smile bloom on the strikingly-colored half-elf’s face before he’d shut and lock the door and take his time to torture and tease the young adept to new heights of pleasure.
Yes everything took time, but in Grath’s hands, Philip could and would spend all the time in the world.
