I haven't forgotten about this

I swear. I just have been so busy with work (still at Random House woo!) that I haven't finished much of anything. I will get back in the habit of posting excerpts though because I have easily a half-dozen projects started, one of which is close to finishing.

I need to devote some time to getting it done and starting the editing process, because I would very much like to move on to the second novel in the series while I start pitching and looking for representation.

In the meantime, I'll be doing a joint project with lovebloodrhetoric for possible publication, which we need to get a move on. It's a serial and due in September, but there's a lot to be done. I might post a snippet or two of that as well.

I just need to remember to write about writing because that in and of itself helps me to write.

If that makes any sense.

Anyway I'm sorry to those who followed this journal to see my writing and have gotten nothing but either silence or apologies from me. I'll post something shortly for you!

Lunacy: Hunted (An excerpt)

So this is from a series I started called Lunacy. Unsurprisingly, it's about werewolves and this is part of a scene where Nico is making advances on a girl his brother Terry is dating. It's so much more complicated from that, but in a nutshell, that's all the backstory you need to know for this part.
